Bruno did his undergraduate and master studies at Universidade de Sao Paulo in Brazil and obtained his PhD from Université Paris-Sud Orsay (France) in 2010. As a CERN research fellow and staff in the ATLAS collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider, he contributed to the discovery and studies of the Higgs boson, searches for new phenomena, software and detector projects.
Since 2018 he is a researcher at CEA Paris-Saclay in France. He shares his time between machine learning, operations and upgrade projects of the CMS experiment at LHC, and occasionally some exciting educational projects like LA-CoNGA physics.
