Josefina is an Argentinian experimental particle physicist working at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) from 2012 and member of the ATLAS collaboration of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN since 2011.

Josefina graduated with a PhD in physics Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, in 2017. She was a postdoctoral research fellow at the same university until 2018, when she started her second postdoctoral fellowship at Tel Aviv University, Israel, until then of 2020.

During her PhD, she worked on the study of the Higgs boson’s spin in the diphoton channel, and the estimation of its cross section.

For the past two years she was the trigger coordinator for tau leptons and contributed to the developments of a new algorithm for the Level-1 trigger in ATLAS for Run3.

Josefina will be now changing paths in her career as she will start working as a Data Scientist in a music record label applying all her expertise from her work in ATLAS.
